Transfers for c$500 round trip per vehicle and the journey time from Lusaka Airport is four to four and a half hours. Fly in to Chunga Airstrip and journey is just one and a half hours game drive to the camp.

Whilst the camp is rustic, there are no shortage of lovely little touches and creature comforts. The beds are comfortable and very cosy and with part-outdoor bathrooms you have the opportunity to shower under the African sky, a lovely treat. The main lapa area is also laid out very nicely and provides the perfect area to sit and take in the views up and downstream of the camp.

This area of Kafue is rich in wildlife, so game viewing must be on the agenda. With lions, leopards, varying species of birds, zebra and wild dog, there is plenty to keep your eyes occupied here. After all that, the shady areas beneath the trees create the perfect spot for relaxation.
